Canon Es55 Camcorder

I’m listing this for parts as I can’t 100% guarantee it’s working due to the below problem. The camera turns on and accepts tapes. You can see through the lens finder in the one picture. However it seems like it doesn’t want to hold a charge. I think it needs a new battery and would be fine, but as I said above I can’t guarantee anything. Hand strap has some wear and lens cap is broken.
