I am considering this untested. I don't have an 8mm tape to use for recording, so this is being sold as-is, as you see it. It turns on, you can view through the viewfinder, you can connect to your tv and view what the camera is viewing. The remote works. That's as far as this had been tested. Again, the 8mm recording / playing function has not been tested.
