The camcorder works but it is finicky.
It needs a new battery, the one included will only hold a charge for a few minutes. When I first started testing it the tape door would not close, it kept popping back up. After a while it stayed close like it normally would. One time I turned it on and it said it was in safe mode, it only happened once.
I would describe it as usable but frustratingly so. Sold as is, for parts/repair/donor.
The box has shelf wear and a big sticker on one side.
