No return on items being sold for parts. I charged the battery and tested the unit.  The camcorder is in safeguard mode.  It will not record.  It will not play the tapes.  It powers up and goes to the menu.    There are some light scratches. Camcorder, battery and charger included.  There is a tape inside the camcorder. Please see photos for more details. Only the items in the photos are included with the item.
