It will power on, and some functions work. I don’t think it records anymore, but in terms of playing tapes, when you hit eject, the cassette function opens, you put a tape in, it closes automatically - but then the top won’t close (go down automatically). This is likely a problem with the capstan motor - if you know how to work these things, probably a simple fix. I don’t - so selling it. Comes with all you see in the pictures.
